The 2003 ISR/Oldenburg NA Inspection Champion and Premium Mare Dior by Donnerluck out of Hanoverian mare Geistes (Grusus/Embassy XX) received the outstanding award of 2006 East Coast Champion Premium Mare from the ISR/Oldenburg North America. One spectator's comments at a recent clinic with Jim Koford, "That is a Grand Prix horse in the making...she is so uphill!" Dior was bred by Jeanette Leroux of Purcellville, Virginia and is currently owned by Dr. Rebecca Yount in Virginia. Foaled April 8, 2003 out of Geistes (Grusus/Embassy XX). Dior was Champion foal at her inspection at Silverwood Farm with a Premium rating of 8.3. Dior is very modern and elegant with an excellent neck set. Donnerspiel DONNERSPIEL "Rugar", is a 2004, 16 hand, handsome dark bay Oldenburg gelding by the German imported, Oldenburg approved, FEI stallion Donnerlück (Donnerschlag (Donnerhall) x Verb. Pr. St. Weltdame(Weltmeyer) out of a German bred, imported Premium Westfalen mare, Diamond Lady by the Hannoverian stallion, Diamond Boy (Delano/Dirk/Duft II) out of Ramona (Parodie/Paradox I). Donnerlück, DONNERSPIEL’s sire, has a proven top performance record and has achieved numerous wins from 1st Level to Intermediare 1. Donnerlück is on the road to Grand Prix and will be shown in California in 2008. Donnerlück has a superb temperament and excellent trainability which he has passed onto all of his offspring. Diamond Lady, DONNERSPIEL’s dam, received a Gold medal as a three year old at her Westfalen Verband mare inspection in Germany. Copper Spring Farm purchased Diamond Lady, schooling 3rd level, from Grand Prix rider and trainer Alexa Shulten-Baumer in Germany in 1998. She was prese nted to the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society/German Oldenburg Verband in 2000 and was accepted into their Main Mare Book. DONNERSPIEL earned Premium status at his German Oldenburg Verband inspection as a colt. He has a fabulous temperament and is very interested in people. He has been handled daily since birth, is comfortable around people, is extremely trainable and is fun to work with. DONNERSPIEL is going well under saddle, and has 3 excellent gaits with good suspension and hind end engagement. He shows great potential in dressage and talent in jumping.
